Welcome to Your Yoga Journey — Yoga for beginners— In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of yoga. While it is primarily designed for those new to yoga, it can also benefit anyone seeking a refresher on the basics.
Understanding the fundamentals is essential for building a strong foundation in your yoga practice. This course includes a brief introduction to the history of yoga and places a strong emphasis on yoga breathing. Students will learn how coordinating breath with movement (asana) is key to developing a safe, effective, and enriching yoga practice.
We meet for 5 weeks Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00pm - 7:30pm
